www.opamerica.com Presenting a Marx Cowboy Rider tin litho wind-up horse toy. C. 1941. Some light scuffs and wear Litho still bright and colorful! I lightly wound and the clockwork is still strong. The toy easily rocked back and forth. Still has the left arm missing on many today’s Cowboy Rider toys. Measures 6″ inches long at the base and is 7″ inches tall.

Do you know much about the Marx toys? I recently saw a similar cowboy toy by Marx which does not have a rocker, and the lasso twirls once the key is wound up. The left hand holds a revolver, and the arm is hinged to swing, though it does not move by mechanical action. Perhaps it is broken.
